Classes are offered twice a week to all ages from 9 years old and up and all levels from beginner to professional. Classes are held from 5 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday or Thursday. Youth - 9 to 16 years old are $25 per two hour session and Adult - 17 years old and older are $35 per two hour session. Students will be given a list of supplies needed prior to the first class. Valeriy recommends attending classes for at least 3 months. During those three months students will start with drawing still life and work up to traditional European oil painting techniques which could include landscape, portrait and figurative.

Valeriy studied at Krasnoyarsk Art Junior Academy, where he learned the basics of realistic painting. He graduated from Junior Academy with honors and in 1982 entered Moscow Art Academy of V. Surikov. For six years he learned European styles and techniques. After graduating from college, Valeriy began art instruction and worked as a Professor A. at Krasnoyarsk Art Institute. He and his wife Tamara have been teaching art in the United States for many years.
