Who is Tom?Thomas (Tom) Hoffmann has devoted his artistry as well as his name to the company.
Tom Hoffmann is the creative head and manager of "Tom's Company". He represents the spirit of the company. Tom is a visionary and a designer, but at the same time has the management skills that allow him to turn his ideas into reality.
Tom takes his job seriously, without taking himself seriously. This comes through in all his creations: they reflect Tom's playful nature and warm-hearted humour.
Tom's Philosophy
Life is beautiful and behind the grey facades often await vivid colours that only need to be discovered!
Everyday, life offers us colourful and at the same time strange experiences. "I want to artistically transpose these experiences in order to share them with other people", artist Thomas (Tom) Hoffmann says.
Cosmopolitan, Tom is at home wherever he is in the world. He spends a few months per year travelling. This enables him to see the realities of life in foreign countries, and to express their exoticism into something particular.

What is Drag?
1. men wearing women's clothes
2. hot cars racing the quarter miles
3. drawing in deeply with breath
Drag is individualism and energy; enthusiasm and inspiration. It's about breaking the rules. Drag is fun, over the edge, whimsical, startling and cool.
Each piece of the "Tom's Drag" series has been meticulously handcrafted with a personality of its own. Take a good look. Get to know them. Let them brighten your day.
Materials
For his work, Tom uses only the best quality materials and paints that meet all European safety standards.
The basic material used for most of the products of "Tom's Drags" is marmorin, a new material created from marble and synthetic resin. The mixture of these two substances gives a pure, ivory colored product that resembles a high quality ceramic.
Tom's original sculpture is modelled in this material and after the drying process is lovingly painted by hand down to all its details.
Each single piece of the Tom's Drag Collection is therefore an unique piece of art.
Other items of the Drag Collection, like the Drag Cabinets for example, are built in MDF. Larger figurines and bowls are made from fiberglass with a coating of marmorin.
